Venue Hire

Need the whole gym to yourself? Venue hire gives your group exclusive access outside our regular hours — ideal for university clubs, community groups or special events.

When is Venue Hire required?

  • Your group has over 30 people

  • You’d like to use the entire venue

  • Portside deems your planned activities may impact other climbers

What's included

  • Exclusive venue access

  • Rental shoes and chalk for all guests

  • Portside staff support during your hire

Availability

  • All Portside Venues (O’Connor, Osborne Park, Willetton, Joondalup)

  • Only available outside normal opening hours (typically 7–9PM or 7–10PM Sat/Sun)

  • O’Connor not available Sunday evenings (due to wall stripping)

Important to Know

  • Our form takes requests only — bookings are not confirmed until we get in touch

  • Our team will contact you to confirm your date, time and hire details

  • Ages 16+ only

  • 4 weeks’ notice required (ideally 3 months)

  • 50% deposit within 7 days required to confirm your booking

  • Final payment can be made on the day or via invoice
